Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Designer to collaborate with our team, taking the lead in developing design solutions throughout all project phases. Your industry knowledge, design skills, and technical prowess will be vital in steering projects from inception to completion.

You are a seasoned designer with a track record of contributing to top-tier, design-oriented ventures. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to innovative problem-solving and design excellence. You must exhibit forward-thinking creativity while offering practical solutions to new design challenges. Taking ownership of your work is essential, yet you should also value open communication and embrace a team-centric approach to success.

In this role, you will closely work with the Principal-In-Charge, Design Director, and Design Manager in a supportive team environment to guide projects from initial concepts to implementation. A holistic and deliberate design approach underpins our work, attracting clients who believe in the potent impact of design.

What You Will Do

Oversee design and delivery across various project types in different environments.
Lead project meetings and keep clients informed of progress.
Understand clients' program needs and share them with project teams.
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders.
Manage project teams of different sizes efficiently.
Contribute to establishing project budgets and schedules.
Ensure all work meets client specifications and quality standards.
Address complex technical and design issues during the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Offer guidance and solutions to overcome design challenges.
Supervise junior team members, providing mentorship and ensuring quality work.
Promote sustainability in all projects.
Set sustainability targets in collaboration with clients and project teams.
Support team members in pursuing sustainability education.
Engage in business development initiatives.
Contribute to office activities and learning programs.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree preferred.
Diverse portfolio of work across multiple practice areas.
Minimum of 12 years' experience in architectural practice.
Proven ability to handle large projects with diverse stakeholders.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Demonstrated leadership in design and project delivery.
Experience in managing and mentoring project teams.
Sound fiscal accountability on various project types.
Strategic thinker with a holistic approach to design and project management.
Proficient in architecture design principles and technical aspects.
Capability to navigate challenging situations with emotional intelligence.
A passion for design thinking.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles.
Preferred accreditation in LEED, WELL, or similar rating systems.
Experience with sustainable design projects.
Advanced proficiency in design software like Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Suite.

Your Design Technology Qualifications

Essential

Expertise in Autodesk Revit for design authoring and project delivery.
Proficiency in Rhinoceros for design work.
Knowledge of workflows between Rhino & Revit for project stages.
Familiarity with real-time rendering processes and material management within BIM.
Basic understanding of Computational Design applications.

Desirable

Experience in strategic planning for BIM projects.
Collaboration skills within a BIM context.
Familiarity with Information Management tools like Aconex.
Proficiency in Performance Design applications.
Expertise in VR presentations for client engagement.
