    [What the role is]

    The Strategic Planning Division is part of the Planning Group in SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). We lead the corporate planning process in SSG, to align corporate priorities with national priorities for skills development, and drive strategic coherence across the organisation.

    [What you will be working on]

    As a part of the planning team, the portfolio might include the following:

  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of high-impact SkillsFuture projects. This can include kickstarting and defining the project scope, implementation parameters and desired outcomes, progress tracking and evaluation of results.
  • Drive the development of SSG corporate plan, cascade corporate priorities and monitor performance.
  • Advance SSG's international engagements with overseas counterparts in order to benchmark Singapore's progress and learn best practices.
  • Conduct horizon scans on emerging trends in the Continuing Education and Training landscape and their impact on Singapore's workforce skills development efforts to support policy reviews.
  • Perform secretariat duties for key meeting platforms.

    We are looking for someone who can:

  • Synthesise a broad range of information and logically structure and substantiate findings and applications using both written and visual formats.
  • Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form.
  • Multi-task effectively and balance competing or changing priorities, at times under tight deadline and with some ambiguity.
  • Engage with various stakeholders and drive fruitful collaborations.
  • Be resourceful and has a strong drive to get things done.
  • Anticipate needs and make judgement calls within your sphere of responsibilities.
  • We also appreciate quantitative skills and experience in policy and planning work. Appointment will commensurate with your experience.
