Key Responsibilities

Involve in electrical testing activity such as Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and T&C
Generate and produce reports from the collected data from SAT.
To perform and execute the test and commissioning tasks according to the service request by the customer including power turn on.
Liaise with customer for technical support and test requirement.
Coordinate with Quality department to solve any quality issue & any corrective action require.
Understand and troubleshoot various kind of controls system such as Interlock systems, ATS, DOL, VFD and SD etc.
Able to conduct Insulation resistance test, Dielectric test, primary current injection test, secondary current injection test, contact resistance test, REF relay test.
Able to conduct initial setup for power meter, protection devices and circuit breakers.
To report the progress and the risks to the T&C manager, and prepare internal reports pertaining to the job status.
Communicate with PE and other professional bodies
Testing & Commissioning for the Switchgear systems and Protection relays based on accuracy and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, ideally with at least 3 years experience in a switchboard company.
Previous working experience as test engineer will be a strong advantage
Understanding of engineering drawing (Single Line Diagram) & control circuit diagram.
Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures
Good problemsolving skills
