- As a Business Excellence Expert, your responsibility will be to drive a diverse range of support functions for the entire factory. These functions range from workplace safety, industrial engineering, to lean operations.
- You (co-)develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive business excellence across the manufacturing network and the plant. Further, you act as the go-to-person for all centrally hosted corporate business functions and ensure continuous alignment between the plant, the headquarters, and the other functions of the manufacturing network.
- You lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, you champion and propagate the use of a wide set of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kata. Your goal is to foster a culture of pristine quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Not only do you excel in continuous improvement, but you also possess innate problem-solving abilities. In situations requiring troubleshooting, you can swiftly assess problems, delve into their history, and implement innovative solutions.
- You assume the role of overseeing the company-wide strategy process, Hoshin Kanri, specifically for the plant. You serve as the primary driver, collaborating closely with the plant management to ensure its effective implementation.
- You position the Singapore plant as a shining example of people-centricity within the manufacturing network and actively disseminate the valuable insights gained from it to others in the network. Additionally, you collaboratively develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to continually enhance the culture of learning and people-centricity within the plant.
- You continuously stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in manufacturing and are not shy to consequently explore innovative approaches and ideas.
