Description

Job Description:

  • Oversee varied and complex 2D or 3D drafting and design work
- design development of new product concepts and develop design solution to best meet client's requirements

  • Review design drawings bases for feasibility, practicability, completion timeframe and compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, specifications and BCA regulation
  • Develop and test prototypes
  • Generate 2D and/or 3D models of prototype designs
  • Coordinate with Singapore / Oversea team designer/coordinator
  • Study architect's or Consultant drawings and ensure alignment with specification
  • Well versed of curtainwall, window, doors, Louvers, facade cladding etc.
  • Preparations of cutting list, material takeoff and Marking tag dwgs.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 35 years of experience design of construction projects
  • Indepth knowledge of current Autocad, (optional BIM, Tekla, Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks and Sketchup software)
  • Good communication skills
  • Independent skills
  • Organising skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to interpret drawings, technical manuals, and to follow quality/control procedures
  • Diploma/ Degree in architecture, design, engineering related discipline
