- Create automated solutions that make existing data collection and signal identification processes more efficient and scalable
- Develop infrastructure for macroeconomic analysis and monitoring of Asian economies
- Tracking of sell-side research ideas and views on key upcoming market events
- Responsible for execution and booking of trades and interacting with counterparties
- Generate trading ideas based on macroeconomic and/or market themes
- Ideally some experience working closely with a trading desk in a bank or hedge fund/trading house
- Master's degree preferably in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Business/Finance, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong programming and algorithm skills, with proficiency in Python and Pandas being essential.
- Advanced understanding of macroeconomics.
- Strong background in financial instruments.
- Self-starter capable of working independently.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum period of 6 months.
