Singapore based shipping company looking for Commercial Manager

Responsibilities include:

Liaising with Buyers (shipping biz) and maintaining strong relations

Develop new business initiatives/verticals in liaison with SNP Team

Assist in ship inspection along with Buyers

Procure preowned materials and spare parts from Yards for shipowners

Knowledge of Gujarati language essential as many buyers are in Gujarat

Developing opportunities to cross-sell products to existing clients

Tender writing and submissions

Maintain and further develop Company brand image

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering

Ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies

Ability to be a strong Team Player working with various teams

Some work experience in Ship Recycling Yard

Understanding and practical knowledge of ship structure and parts

Must know Gujarati language- written and spoken

Sincere and hardworking

Able to work with clients across different time zones- Europe and Indian sub-con

Good listener

Excellent communication and presentation skills
