Equity Trader - Singapore - Aptitude Asia Limited

Our client, a leading hedge fund, is looking to hire an experienced Equity Trader to join the Asia trading desk in Singapore.

• Trade execution for Asia based Portfolio Managers, via brokersponsored algorithms, broker cash desks, dark pool, and DMA facilities
• Closely monitor the price movements, volume, and trading flows for equity holdings in the portfolios
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with brokers
• Responsible for trade booking and portfolio monitoring
• Work with Trading Assistants, Operations, Compliance, and Risk to resolve any trading related issues

• 812 years of professional working experience as an Equity Trader
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Math, Engineering, or other related fields
• Sound understanding of broker sponsored algorithms, broker cash desk, dark pools, and DMA facilities
• Knowledge of the Asian equity markets
• Familiarity with trading systems, OMS, and EMS
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Able to work in a fastpaced environment whilst managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
