Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

Social Media

· Propose and generate content to educate and engage followers on ReCAAP ISC social media channels (Twitter and LinkedIn). Create key content pillars and schedule regular social media posts

· Photo taking and putting up social media posts to publicise the Centre's activities and meetings/engagement by ReCAAP ISC Executive Director

· Monitoring comments/responses to social media posts.

· Keeping track of and reporting on social media analytics to increase engagement and followers

Marketing Communications

· Managing corporate gift inventory. Procurement of corporate gifts.

· Updating/uploading content on ReCAAP ISC website.

· Work with vendors to design and produce marketing communications collaterals for the Centre.

Corporate Communications

· Support Asst Dir (Corp Comms) in engaging the media during media briefings and the Centre's events/activities

· Assist in photography/videography for the Centre when required. Edit and upload content to the Centre's YouTube Channel

· Assist in VIP visits/courtesy calls to the Centre

Secretariat

· Support Secretariat work – e.g. maintenance of the repository of information and correspondence involving ReCAAP member States

· Co-ordinate the annual Governing Council Meeting of ReCAAP ISC

· Assist with drafting minutes for the annual Governing Council Meeting of ReCAAP ISC

Requirements:

· Degree or diploma in communications or new media

· Minimum 2-3 years of work experience; preferably in communications-related fields

· Excellent writing skills

· Adept in digital communications, including analytics and data measurement

· Social media and IT-savvy

· Self-motivated individual who is a team player

· Meticulous and results-oriented
