    Roles & Responsibilities

    Role:

    You will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and producing financial reports for an organization. Key duties and responsibilities typically include:

    1. Recording financial transactions in accounting software or ledgers, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
    2. Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy of accounts.
    3. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
    4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
    5. Preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    6. Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
    7. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    8. Collaborating with other departments or external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies or inquiries.
    9. Assisting with year-end audits and tax preparation.
    10. Providing support to the finance team as needed, including ad hoc financial analysis or projects.

    Requirements:

    1. Education: Diploma or degree in accounting or related field preferred.
    2. Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of Singaporean accounting standards and regulations.
    3. Experience: Prior bookkeeping experience and proficiency in accounting software.
    4. Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    5. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately record and reconcile financial transactions.
    6. Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication.
    7. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
