Job Summary

SCOR is working to bridge the protection gap, widening the limits as far as possible by offering new products and improved services.

Meanwhile, the horizon of emerging risks is expanding, with a particular need to better understand the threat of climate change.

Building resilience in this rapidly evolving landscape is our challenge, as well as our opportunity.

Capture of third-party Data and exposure to different Business services is a growing need within SCOR P&C.

Example of which are retrieval of third-party Data to support Business by better understand underlying risk for a given geography and risk such as Cyber, Agriculture, Marine, Natural catastrophes, etc.

This requires retrieving data through scrapping or APIs, processing it efficiently via SCOR Data Platform, building dashboards and statistical models to derive insights for Business teams leveraging SCOR analytics eco-system: Python, Git, Gitlab, Databricks, Tableau and Power BI.

Required experience & competencies

Excellent programming skills & knowledge of Python and PySpark.
Strong communication skills
Fluency in English
Selfdriven, strong in execution, team player and fast to understand business needs
A love for Data
