    Description

    Senior Business Manager (SVP)

    The Business Execution Manager is accountable for management of criticalprojects and initiatives for TTS business in Asia South. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within TTS business and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the. Business. A good understanding of the industry, competition product and services will be helpful to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. The person will be directly accountable for end results, budget planning with sales, product and other partners, policy formulation and planning for future state of the business. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area.

    Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to Head Business Execution and addresses high impact strategic initiatives across the TTS business.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for the cluster review, development and implementation of business process improvements.
  • This position will also coordinate efforts for global area integration to achieve operational efficiency objectives.
  • Identify opportunities and issues of strategic importance to the business
  • Develop recommendation to advise Head Business Execution and Asia South TTS senior management on high priority initiatives, including growth strategy, and cross business initiatives.
  • Monitoring both scheduled and unscheduled reviews to completion.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience with Business Management/Execution within Financial Services (Banks/Consulting Firms).
  • Strong understanding of Cash Management and Trade and Working capital business is a must.
  • Experience managing limited resources that are requested to offer outstanding results.
  • Experience in finance and processes administration.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization set up and manage objectives by influence.
  • Self-starter, action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.
  • Strategic and goal-oriented thinker.
  • Effective interpersonal skills – including teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree is "good to have".
