    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Overview:

    The President is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the company in order to achieve its mission, vision, and goals. This role oversees all aspects of the organization's operations, including financial performance, business development, human resources, stakeholder relations, and technology integration. The President works closely with the Head Quarter and Board of Directors to develop and implement policies and strategies that drive the company's growth, success, and technological innovation, particularly through the adoption of Japanese technology into the Singapore market.

    Key Responsibilities,

    Strategic Planning and Execution:

    · Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the company and DOWA Group's mission and objectives.

    · Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.

    · Lead initiatives to enhance the company's competitive position and market share.

    Financial Management:

    · Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.

    · Ensure sound financial management practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    · Optimize financial performance and profitability through effective resource allocation and cost management.

    Operational Leadership:

    · Provide leadership and guidance to department heads to ensure operational excellence.

    · Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

    · Implement best practices and standards to enhance operational effectiveness.

    Business Development and Growth:

    · Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

    · Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

    · Drive initiatives to expand the company's market reach and revenue streams.

    People Management and Development:

    · Lead and inspire a high-performing executive team and workforce.

    · Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and development.

    · Champion talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts.

    Corporate Governance and Compliance:

    · Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

    · Uphold corporate governance principles and practices.

    · Work closely with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities.

    Japanese Reporting to Headquarters:

    · Ensure accurate and timely reporting to headquarters in Japan, including financial reports, operational updates, and strategic initiatives.

    · Coordinate with relevant departments to gather data and information for reporting purposes.

    · Facilitate communication and collaboration between the headquarters and local teams to support business objectives and alignment with global strategies.

    Technology Integration and Innovation:

    · Identify opportunities to introduce and integrate Japanese technology solutions into the Singaporean market.

    · Collaborate with Japanese partners or technology providers to assess and adopt innovative solutions.

    · Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, or customer experience through technology implementation.
