We're on a search for a Finance Associate with the following attributes:

_ You will:
_

Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthend accounts
Assist in preparation of internal and external reporting on a timely basis
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Provide inputs for cashflow forecasting and budgeting to enable monitoring of working capital
Review employee expenses, prior to disbursement
Review local and foreign tax returns in line with statutory requirements
Review and post intercompany transactions
Ensures internal controls in place are adequate and in compliance with all corporate governance requirements
Accounts payable / procurement duties (to be determined) as well as adhoc tasks as required

You'll be a great match if you have the following attributes:

Chartered Accountant and/or Degree holder in Accountancy with at least 2 to 3 years commercial and/or audit experience, with excellent knowledge of IFRS and SFRS.
Experience in maintaining a full set of accounts for multiple entities, including consolidation preferably in
technology startups
is a plus.
Detailed individual who takes pride in accuracy and possesses strong technical acumen
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong track record of automation and process simplification and improvement
