    Roles & Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:


    •Ensure proper accountability and execution of all company accounting processes & activities including reviewing and reconciliation of bank, General Ledger, Project Costing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and Fixed Asset.


    •Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and yearly closing, consolidation and all aspects of management reporting and financial reporting.


    •Organize and plan for half yearly stock take (Quarterly & Annually).


    •Plan, organize and coordinate and engage with External and Internal Auditor to ensure the audit is completed on time.


    •Preparation of external financial reporting according with SFRS.


    •Review and incorporate new Accounting Procedures and Policies.


    •Ensure tax and statutory filing requirement are met e.g. quarterly GST filing and yearly tax filing, EDB and various statutory filings.


    •Preparation of cashflow statements and monitoring cash utilization & FX.


    •Prepare annual cost budget and track budget adherence.


    •Ensure that internal controls are functioning properly and adhered to, and to review and enhance, if necessary.


    •Supervision to the accounting teams, both local and overseas.


    •Overseeing the Financial and Management reporting audit and statutory tax compliance of local & regional companies.


    •Analyze creditworthiness and track payment pattern of customers to minimize credit & collection risks.


    •Responsible for executing, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Oracle for all processes in the Financial and Costing modules and their interfaces to Operation and Sales modules, and ensuring that Internal Control functions are not compromised or mitigated.


    •Preparation of sales commission computation and provide analysis of the ROS and effectiveness of the Sales Commission policy.


    •Regular updating of eBanking, banking authorization and ensuring that proper adherence to the banking mandates.


    •Providing Business intelligence /analysis of the business units, customers and products.


    •Project /costing analysis and customer analysis.


    •Provide admin support to Operation (eg government survey, customer setup, ACRA etc).


    •Assisting FM with Hire Purchase and Banking requirement and monitoring banking utilizations.


    •Assisting FM with all insurance and treasury functions.


    •Assisting FM on various operational and project analysis or feasibility, and to lead a project team when required.
