Description

As the Retail Operations Manager for As Intended, you will oversee a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including distribution management, sales tracking, part-time staff supervision, and category buying.

Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our brand by optimizing distribution operations, maximizing sales performance, and curating an appealing product assortment across retail fronts.

**Key Responsibilities:

Distribution Management:


  • Lead the efficient distribution of fashion label apparel to retail stores, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange transportation and delivery schedules, tracking shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock turnover.

Sales Tracking and Analysis:


  • Monitor sales performance across all retail fronts, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize sales forecasting models to anticipate demand and adjust distribution strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with retail managers to develop sales targets and strategies for each store, providing support and guidance as needed.

Part-Time Staff Management:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise parttime staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfill their roles effectively.
  • Schedule parttime staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
  • Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing support and guidance to parttime staff members.

Category Buying:


  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to identify key range categories for purchase.
  • Identifying potential product gaps and reporting to Product Team

Quality Control and Customer Service:


  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity and presentation of merchandise meet brand standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address product quality issues and minimize returns or exchanges.
