The ESG Coordination Office has been recently setup to support the business community in understanding the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) related matters.

The primary objective is to facilitate the adoption of ESG best practices for creating value and achieving business success. Additionally, it seeks to collaborate with stakeholders from both private and public sectors to seize ESG opportunities collectively.


As the Head of ESG Coordination Office, you play a critical role in driving ESG awareness, fostering adoption, and creating meaningful impact within the business community.

Your responsibilities include leading the Office, overseeing operational aspects, and providing guidance and support to the business community to understand and implement ESG practices.


  • Lead the team in engaging the business community on ESG imperatives.
  • Identify and conceptualise programmes and projects to galvanise the business community to step up ESG efforts, particularly to support businesses of diverse profiles to participate in ESG activities.
  • Map out the strategic plan (i.e. logic model) of the ESG Coordination Office and report progress and achievements in accordance with the unit's deliverables and objectives.
  • Provide regular updates on the ESG Coordination Office at the MCCY-NVPC bilateral platforms.
  • Onboard new hires to the ESG Coordination Office and formalise the division of roles within the team.
  • Foster partnerships and collaborate with industry stakeholders such as government agencies, other Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) and business leaders to champion ESG best practices.

Job Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience, with experience in ESGrelated corporate roles. Having managerial experience is required.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and reporting frameworks related to ESG.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, ability to engage diverse stakeholders as well as analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent qualitative, quantitative, and problemsolving skills.
  • Proactive and possess resourcefulness, capable of generating meaningful ideas and innovative solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to bring various parties together to achieve results.
