One of the key strategic thrusts of Our SG Arts Plan is to make Singapore a Distinctive City where spaces are invigorated by the arts and contribute to making Singapore an endearing home and attractive destination.

Within this thrust, our key priorities include diversifying and unlocking spaces, activating places and precincts and infusing arts everywhere.

To support this strategic thrust, NAC will be developing an arts infrastructure masterplan, building on an earlier study on the mapping of our cultural infrastructure.

In addition, NAC is looking to foster partnerships with real estate developers on arts-related concepts and developments to support our key priorities.

What the Role is

Evaluate and appoint external Arts Infrastructure Masterplan Consultant
Oversee and Work Collaboratively with Consultant to Develop the Arts Infrastructure Masterplan
Work closely with real estate developers on artsrelated concepts and developments

What you will be working on

(A) Arts Infra Masterplan**
1. Planning
a.

Work with senior management to form an internal working committee made up internal stakeholders, as well as an external Steering Committee.

2. Award and execution of the project
a. Finalise the tender documents, manage the tender process, evaluation and award of tender.

b. Oversee and work collaboratively with the appointed Consultant to develop the Arts Infrastructure Masterplan.

c.

Facilitate regular engagement of project team with:

NAC management and teams (and resources);
Representatives from other government agencies; and
External parties which could include identified artists and art groups, developers etc.

(B) Guide real estate developers on arts-related concepts and developments**- Guide real estate developers to integrate arts-related concepts into upcoming developments, to make Singapore a distinctive city filled with vibrant spaces for and inspired by the arts and unlock spaces to support arts creation, presentation and connection with audiences.

What we are looking for

At least 8-10 years' experience in business development, infrastructure development.
Relevant experience in public sector, with familiarity in government procurement tender processes on GeBiz and high level of attention to detail for contract management is preferred.
Familiarity with government policy planning is preferred.
Strategic planner with strong organizing and planning skills, able to develop roadmaps, and provide critical guidance to consultants, informed by data and research.
Strong communicator and relationship builder, both with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships.
