What the role is

  • Learning Management Specialist (School of Leadership & Administration), AGC Legal-Service Academy

What you will be working on

  • As a member of the Learning Management team, you will provide support to the School of Leadership & Administration to operationalise the training curriculum designed by the School by building and maintaining channels through which training is delivered, and manage all administrative matters relating to training programmes. You will also assist with design and development of learning materials and facilitation of the learning process. This person will report to the School Head directly for course development related work.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

Programme Delivery:
a) Work with various stakeholders (trainers, facilitators, participants, vendors, facilities management team, business partners) to ensure smooth execution of programme delivery
b) Assist with identification and consolidation of possible nominations for in-house leadership programmes
c) Ensure programmes are well-publicised to the targeted audience to solicit sign ups
d) Perform administration of training using LMS to track and report training records
e) Prepare training materials, attendance list, venue logistics (including virtual venue) and post-programme evaluation report

Programme Design, Development and Review:
a) Conduct regular review of relevancy of training materials/curriculums
b) Curate relevant learning contents and translate these into simple bite-sized learning materials such as infographics, short videos, articles, toolkits etc
c) Suggest possible training topics for special learning events and conduct research in these areas to aid in the decision-making process
d) Review feedback from learners and external stakeholders on the impact and effectiveness of learning and make suitable recommendations for improvement, if any

Learning Process Facilitation:
a) Assist with learning needs analysis by engaging stakeholders to understand desired learning outcomes and business objectives
b) Assist with development of implementation and communication plans for proposed learning solutions and interventions and follow through with key stakeholders involved
c) Perform horizon scanning to identify appropriate training vendors and/or learning resources that would help achieve the intended learning outcomes
d) Work with School Heads and Finance Business Partners to develop procurement requirements specification for ITQ/ITT when required


What we are looking for

  • Requirements:
  • At least 35 years of related experience with a good knowledge in L&D process
  • Passionate about developing people and is familiar with key adult learning principles. Certification/knowledge in instructional design is an advantage
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills; strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills; good organisational and project management skills
  • Has an eye for details and a good aesthetic sense
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, working knowledge of Adobe Articulate Storyline and SCORM is an advantage
