- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the logistics department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that all operations are carried out efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all processes are integrated and work together seamlessly.
- Hire, train, and manage personnel, including drivers, logistics planner, and ground staffs.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the execution of operations to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations and transportation regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for the logistics department and ensure that all expenses are within budget.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Work with customers to ensure that all logistics requirements are met and to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to ensure that the company remains Competitive.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management.
- Proven track record of managing a team and delivering results.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with logistics technology.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
