As a vital member of the Software Development team, you will:

Utilise your expertise in either C++ or Rust (or both) to write robust and performant code.
Utilise Python for various scripting and integration tasks.
Continuously enhance our systems to adapt to evolving trading needs.
Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our trading systems.

Second-Line Support and Collective Responsibility:

Additionally, during upgrades and new deployments, our engineers take on first-line support responsibilities, ensuring a seamless transition and promptly resolving any issues that may arise during critical phases.

The typical interview process for the Software Developer (Python/C++/Rust) role includes the following steps:

Initial Chat with HR: The process begins with an informal chat with a member of our HR team. This conversation provides an opportunity for you to learn more about Grasshopper, the role, and our company culture. It also allows us to understand your background, interests, and career aspirations.
Online Assessment: After the initial chat, you will be given an online assessment that can be taken in your own time. The assessment evaluates your technical proficiency, problemsolving skills, and ability to work with relevant programming languages (Python, C++, Rust).
Technical Interview Rounds: The next stage consists of two rounds of technical interviews. These rounds will include a mix of questions
