Our Client:
Our client is the leading general insurer with over 100 years of experience. They are actively looking to hire an Executive for their SME in Regional & Global Programmes.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in executing the key RP/GIP Segment Profit Centre strategies
- Responsible for the profitable growth and development of RP/GIP business to meet department targets
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Reinsurance and Claims teams to manage loss ratios
- Negotiate, underwrite, accept, and renew business within personal RAA
- Ensure compliance of Company's underwriting guidelines, service standards and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Coordinate policy issuance, tracking and monitoring of accounts
- Monitor outstanding premium payable and implement the company's credit control policy
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
- Regional and Global Programmes
The Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma / GCE 'A' level qualification &/or professional insurance qualifications
- Certificate in General Insurance (BCP/PGI/CGI) & HI
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or servicing of general insurance accounts
- Experience in underwriting commercial lines of business
- Sound GI underwriting knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Selling and negotiation skills
