    Position objective and summary

    • Conduct research and development activities related to waste recycling and management processes.

    Main tasks / activities / responsibilities

    • Research and Development: Conduct research and development activities related to waste recycling and management processes. This may involve designing and implementing experiments, analyzing data, and developing innovative solutions to improve waste recycling and management practices.
    • Laboratory Testing: Perform laboratory tests and analyses on waste samples to determine their composition, characteristics, and potential for recycling or disposal. This may include physical, chemical, and biological testing methods.
    • Process Optimization: Collaborate with other laboratory team members, Operations team and other departments to optimize waste recycling and management processes. Identify areas for improvement and propose modifications or enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Present research results to internal stakeholders, clients, or regulatory agencies as required.
    • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing waste recycling and management activities. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to laboratory procedures and practices.
    • Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
    • Safety and Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality assurance procedures in the laboratory. Implement and enforce proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations team, Sales team and other departments, to support waste recycling and management projects. Communicate research findings, project updates, and technical information effectively to team members, management and stakeholders.
    • Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in waste recycling and management through continuous learning and professional development activities. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
    • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures, test results, and research activities. Ensure proper documentation and archiving of data for future reference and regulatory compliance.
    • Any other ad-hod jobs assigned

    Job requirements

    • Minimum 2 to 3 years of past working experience.
    • At least Degree in Chemistry or any related course with a strong research background.
    • Experience in handling chemical equipment, Good analytical skills
    • Organized, self-motivated, optimistic, good working attitude and teamwork.
