- Creating Sustainability framework for GSF schools.
- Implementing sustainability plans:
- Required to communicate extensively both internally and externally. In order to post on various sustainability projects, work closely with Marketing and Communication department for social media, website, and other communication channels.
- Implement various certifications and standards such as
ISO 14001,
ISO 50001 etc. and as per the
ISO standards, must conduct regular environmental audits to assess the GSF school s energy and water usage, waste management practices, and overall sustainability. - Educate and promote sustainable behaviours among students, teachers, and staff through awareness campaigns, workshops, and events.
- Implementing sustainability projects at the school level and with students will require coordination with various GSF schools. Will work with all GSF schools, principals, Sustainability Ambassadors, Operations and others across the Group to drive environmental improvement activities.
- Awards:
- Collaborating with the local community: need to collaborate with local community organizations and businesses to develop partnerships and programs that promote sustainability and environmental stewardship.
- Computing carbon footprint campus wise and derive action plan to mitigate carbon foot print to achieve carbon neutrality.
- Monitoring and reporting:
- Track the progress of sustainability initiatives, annual creation of sustainability report based on GRI guidelines and report regularly to Head GCEE (Global centre of education excellence)
- Overall, the role is critical to drive positive environmental change. This is done by promoting sustainable practices and behaviours, and ensuring that the school is a leader in environmental sustainability.
