Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview

A Field Application Engineer (FAE) plays a vital role in delivering technical support and expertise. Your main task is to ensure seamless integration and effective use of products and solutions in the customer's setup. Acting as a liaison between technical teams and clients, you will troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and foster strong customer bonds.

Key Responsibilities

Offer on-site and remote technical assistance to customers for product installation, setup, and issue resolution.
Acquire deep knowledge of products and solutions, keeping abreast of new features and enhancements.
Conduct product demos and training sessions to educate customers on functionalities and best practices.
Promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborating with internal teams when necessary.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides and troubleshooting procedures.
Collect customer feedback to drive product enhancements and updates.
Oversee technical projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer contentment.
Provide high-quality post-sales support.
Experience in delivering professional services related to voice gateways, session border controllers (SBC), Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Webex is a bonus.
Knowledge and experience in networking, telephony, and VoIP are advantageous.

Requirements and Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in technical roles like application engineering and technical support.
Strong technical proficiency in relevant technologies and products.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
Customer-centric approach.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
