Description

The JISU team in Electronic Trading Technology is looking for a senior ultra-low-latency connectivity developer. You will get an opportunity to develop connectivity applications for electronic trading with heavy emphasis on low-latency. We are a global team with developers in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Mumbai & Bengaluru. Our team has developed in-house low-latency connectivity & pre-trade risk applications that are both client and exchange facing and serving internal applications. We are looking to improve our application latency, develop new functionalities, make our applications more resilient and supportable, as we expand into markets for other asset classes.

As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Required Skills

A strong data structure and operating system background

Minimum 6 years experience with proficiency in C++ or a similar language

Demonstrable track record of developing impactful applications, hardware and networks

Bachelor's degree (Preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science or an Engineering discipline)

Strong business focus and a clear understanding that technology is the means to achieving business goals

Ability to learn and assimilate proprietary systems quickly

Strong communication skills

Effective partnership skills to work with the business teams to ensure requirements are captured correctly
