Key Responsibilities

Propose, drive and implement IT solutions to improve SID operations
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, scalability and adherence to SID policies.
Ensure quality of systems with proper testing, monitoring and resolving of outstanding issues/bugs within agreed timeline.
Manage and identify potential risks and recommend mitigation controls.
Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

This would be applied to (but not limited to) the following areas

1. Technical guidance and IT roadmap aligning to business needs with a focus on consolidating

data processing on iMIS.

Assist the CEO with technology guidance and input as and when required, including supporting technical queries raised by SID colleagues.
Provide guidance to senior members of SID team in a Technical Lead capacity and how to leverage on iMIS effectively.
Work with SID management team to identify and prioritise IT roadmap to support SID key initiatives where relevant (this includes using iMIS or identifying other new systems).
Help raise overall productivity through the use of technology.
Ensure and advise on IT security.

2. Project Lead iMIS

Be technically conversant with iMIS such that SID is able to do its own customizations/configurations (IQAs, Process Automation, report writer, etc) where allowed and not always rely on the vendor.

3. Other new systems

Where a new system is identified to be required to support new initiative, drive vendor evaluations together with the appropriate business team and make the necessary recommendations.
Ensure that the new system is properly integrated to iMIS where relevant.
Project lead for implementation of new systems identified.
