About the role

Seeking a skilled individual for a multifaceted role encompassing financial and management accounting responsibilities, including overseeing daily accounting tasks, month-end closures, audits, and various reporting duties. The position involves ensuring tax compliance by preparing filings for corporation, employer, and GST taxes, with support from the Asia Tax Manager and external advisors as needed, potentially extending to staff mobility tax management. Additional responsibilities include adhering to statutory requirements such as corporate secretarial duties, managing client funds, and staying updated on local tax laws and corporate compliance regulations. The role also entails tasks like bank reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, payroll administration, assisting with budgeting and cost analysis, implementing internal policies, coordinating with external auditors, tax advisors, and company secretaries, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders and addressing financial inquiries promptly.

skills and experience required

Degree qualified or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in accounts-related work. Previous experience in professional service background will be highly advantageous. Strong team player and able to work independently. You must be communicative and be able to have good stakeholder

relationships.
