QA Engineer - Singapore - RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD

Job Scope

• Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing supplier database.
• Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
• Work cross functionally with sales, engineering and customer service departments to develop sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers and customers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Liaise with Principals/Suppliers in other countries with regards to technical matters.
• Perform initial and final inspection of products and documents
• Interact and liaise with customers for any quality/technical related issues.
• Prepare test procedure or design fixture, whenever needed.
• Perform assembly, testing and packing as per procedure/documentation whenever needed.
• Implement QMS procedures, work instructions and other quality related duties/documents
• Carry out failure analysis work and reports.
• Provide engineering and field support for regional external sales staff and customers.
• Perform any other supporting duties as assigned – eg Turnkey design work
• Perform any other supporting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min. Diploma/Degree in Engineering field of study
• Min. 1 to 3 years' related working experience handling quality assurance checks, hands on testing and procurement scope of duties
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Training & orientation will be provided.
• Comfortable with occasional overseas traveling when required
