JOB SUMMARY
-
Provide engineering support for sustaining production and project, focusing in the Medical and Life Science space.

Work for sustaining production can involve either quality, productivity & process improvement, and for project, can involve either process development, characterization and production startup.
Ensure proper documentation, meeting ISO13485 or respective product documentation requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and provide engineering support and solution for sustaining production and project.
Lead, participate and support project such as line transfer & setup, process development or automation.
Provide timely engineering support and solution, ensuring production line is running smoothly and meeting operational goal.
Work closely with production and customer to solve line quality issue.
Improve and ensure line processes are in control using SPC, Cpk, FMEA and other statistical tools.
Ensure equipment proper maintain and meeting uptime/OEE.
Initiate, lead, implement, drive yield & productivity improvement project.
Writes IOPQ protocol, perform validation, report & documentation.
Generate and maintain Assembly/Maintenance Work Instruction.
Ensure changes on line are implement though Engineering Change Notice (ECN).
Provide training to Technician and Operator.
Ensure production line is compliance with ISO 13485 Quality System.

DESIRED / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering Degree or Diploma, preferred Mechanical or Mechatronics.
Knowledgable in SPC, DOE, DFMEA or plastic bonding process for assembly of medical devices.
Experience in peforming IOPQ protocol and validation or process development.
Experience working with automated assembly line or supplier on automation project.
