Our Medical Services team is critical to the success of Doctor Anywhere.

We are a team of healthcare professionals who oversee Doctor Anywhere 's medical operations including clinics, telemedicine and mobile services.

About the role
Our health screening centre is in search of a skilled and compassionate phlebotomist with excellent patient care skills. As a phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients and other specimen collection procedures.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and guide them through the specimen collection process
Assess the patient's vein location and choose an appropriate site for venipuncture
Collect specimens, label and document them correctly
Ensure patients' safety and handle any emergencies if needed
Document all procedures, outcomes, and communication
Maintain equipment and supplies, perform quality control procedures and take corrective action if necessary
Ensure effective communication with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
Perform other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.

About you

Possess certification as a phlebotomist
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to keep confidential information safe and secure
Knowledge of health and safety regulations for healthcare procedures
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and handle demanding patients
Proven track of excellent laboratory and documentation skills
A startup attitude you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things we're not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
