Description

Dental Surgery Assistant is a clinical support officer who works as part of the dental team.

In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a Senior Dental Surgery Assistant in assisting the Dentist when treating patients.

As a Dental Surgery Assistant, you'll greet and ensure that patients are comfortable during and after their dental appointments.

This will include the responsibilities as following:

• Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.
• Setting up instrument trays
• Preparing materials and instruments.
• Assisting Dentists with dental procedures.
• Assist in performing dental radiography
• Assist in ordering dental supplies when supplies are low in stock
• Educate patients on dental and post-operative care
• Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and inquiries
• Perform general administrative duties

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least GCE 'N' Level or equivalent.
• Teamwork
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Willing to work on a 5.5-day work week basis.
• Able to work rotating shift duties (including nights, and weekends)
