Key Responsabilities:

Licenses/Permits

1. Nparks Veterinary Certificate (6/weekly)

2. Nparks Stone Import Licenses (fortnightly per shipment; 4/fortnight)

Shared inbox management

1. Checking enquiries/test submissions/problems (daily)

2. Liaising with IT support for issues

3. Updating lab activity sheet for send-out reports

4. HK team correspondence (IHC tests/enquiries from clinics)

5. Consultations for expert support

Benchwork

1. Assist in handling routine laboratory works on the different benches (Cytology, Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, Urolith Analysis and Chemistry)

2. Registration & Reporting of samples and reports

3. Liaising with clinics for problematic submissions (no site/no test/no pet details – weekends/PH)

4. In charge of running of Export Tests

5. Ensuring lab standards, safety and QA/QC protocols are adhered to and maintained

Department Management

1. Microbiology

2. PCR

3. Stone Analysis

4. Cytology

5. Export Test setup

Admin Work

1. Laboratory purchases verification

2. Applications of veterinary certificates and stone import licenses

3. Laboratory performance monitoring in respect to TAT and error logs

4. Inventory management with inventory team

Project Management

1. Development of new department: Export Testing (test set up, validation and daily operations)

Job Requirements:

Minimum BSc in Biomedical Sciences or relevant medical sciences degrees

Solid experience in Laboratory operations

Management skill

Independent worker who also works well in a team

Team Engagement

Troubleshooting skills

Detail-oriented individual who is well organized

Able to lead projects and discussions with team members

Good command of MS Word and Excel

Good command of written and spoken English
