The Group Reporting team leads Ninja Van's reporting function for both internal and external reporting purposes.

The team provides guidance to all country finance teams on the preparation of our group financial reports, and coordinates the preparation of the group's statutory audits.

The team will also need to work closely with our auditors, legal, and investor relations teams to ensure that our financial reporting is accurate and relevant.


  • Manages preparation of monthly group financial statement for management and shareholders
  • Coordinate with group / component auditors on the preparation of the Group's statutory audit reports
  • Manages financial statements and disclosures, including coordination and preparation of management discussion & analysis information
  • Participates in the review of external department deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency with external filings and internal reports and documents, as well as compliance with rules governing nonIFRS metrics
  • Provides technical advice and develops an implementation strategy for all accounting issues / changes, including those arising from changes in accounting principles and regulations (IFRS, SEC, etc), to ensure compliance

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the monthend closing and reporting of the subsidiaries across the region.
  • Reviews the financial information and related accounting entries passed by Local Finance and the Shared Service Centre
  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of reports across the Group, in accordance with the local and international Accounting Standards
  • Improves on the quality of reports and analysis
  • Supports the Local Finance on their working capital management, includes monitoring the DSO of Accounts Receivable and preparing cash flows projections / forecasts
  • Reviews the Balance Sheet Schedules with the Local Finance, ensures all reconciling items are investigated and cleared promptly
  • Business Partner with Local Finance / Regional FP&A and other stakeholders on all Accounting and Reporting matters, supports the teams in the Budget and Forecast preparation, variance analysis and chart of account clean up
  • Preparation of consolidated Group Financials and reports for the senior management and investors
  • Supports the Head of Group Reporting on the group audit process and assist with the preparation of required documents and workings for audit purpose.
  • Support the country teams on their individual audits as it pertains to group audit as and when necessary
  • Supports the Head of Group Reporting to design the group reporting and financial policies framework, includes drafting of policies and process flows when required

Requirements:


  • Min 10 years of working experience in accounting / finance
  • Prior Big 4 audit experience is preferred. Technical proficiency in IFRS / SFRS accounting standards and reporting issues.
  • Regional and/or consolidation exposure
  • Degree in Accountancy / FinanceCA and/or CPA accreditation
  • Ability to project manage and solve complex problems in a team environment that spans multiple countries
  • Ability to communicate complex technical matters in a clear and concise matter to a wide audience will be essential
  • Structured mindset, wellorganized and detailoriented particularly important in a fast moving, fast growing business with tight deadlines.
