Roles & Responsibilities

Contract Manager (Structural works, HDB, Factory projects, up to 15K, Changi Area)

Job Responsibilities

•  Experience in sub contract award process
•  Coordinate with contracts department
•  Perform main con tenders
•  Manage and prepare all contract documentation and schedules, as well as providing support in the estimation of project costs, preparation of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements
•  Prepare PQM reports for tenders
•  Have strong knowledge in the market's demands and pricings
•  Review evaluation of variation order request, variation orders, defending claims and providing contractual advice to site team
•  Monitoring contracts and negotiation of final account settlement, drafting settlement agreement, claims for additional payment and EOT
•  Ensure commercial and contractual correspondence with clients are efficiently handled and filed
•  Manage resolution of contractual claims of a wide variety of projects from pre-tender to post-contract stages

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent 
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a comparable role, specializing in contract management and administration, particularly in the construction industry 
• Profound knowledge in Contract Negotiation and Administration
• Relevant experience in HDB, Condo, School and Factory
• Knowledgeable, experienced, and well-versed in the application of various Conditions of Building Contracts commonly adopted locally
• Crisis management capability
• Good communication skills and team player
