    Job Summary


    If you are looking for an opportunity in Quality function, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you The Quality Engineer ensures all components delivered from a supplier follow manufacturing specifications and company standards.


    In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
    Ensure that Suppliers understood Fisher requirement and implemented accordingly.

    Ensure incoming inspection activities complying to the Product Quality and safety requirement.

    Drive Suppliers Continuous improvement initiatives in achieving company goals.

    Provide supervision to the QA Inspectors and Technician.

    Developing and delivering training programs for the appropriate use of qualify tools at work.

    Train and deliver quality requirements to Suppliers clearly.

    Align inspection / testing method requirement if necessary.

    Connect with internal and external partners to resolve quality issues.

    Participating in reviews of product or service design to ensure that quality requirements are identified.

    Ensure smooth transit when changes take place in Suppliers (ex: Engineering changes or firmware changes)

    Conduct supplier performance monitoring / tracking.

    Handle supplier process validation,

    Maintain and update Supplier Approval list.

    Review the supplier material non-conformance dispositions and implementing supplier corrective and preventive actions.


    Who You Are:
    You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations; are outstanding at spotting and seizing opportunities. You build immediate rapport, even when facing difficult or tense situations. You actively listen and check for understanding. You continually scan the environment for technology breakthroughs.

    For This Role, You Will Need:
    Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.

    Knowledgeable on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)

    Good understanding on ISO 9000 QMS

    Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
    Diploma / Degree or any equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering or any related field

    Strong interpersonal skills and able to relate well with all levels of staff

    Knowledge of statistical tools and computer software (Microsoft offices)
