Chief Coordinating Officer (Attractions Operations)


RESPONSIBILITIES


The Chief Coordinating Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations for the Gardens, ensuring that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.

***Your key responsibilities will include the following: - Lead and co-ordinate the efforts of various departments to ensure a welcoming experience for the visitors

  • Ability to coordinate and make sound operational decisions (in operations and deployment of attraction operations and other operational business units) that ensure a smooth and efficient operations of the Gardens and pleasant guest experience from the point of arrival to departure of our guests
  • Active deployment of resources including both inhouse and outsource manpower deployment within and across teams
  • Ensure effective management of the daily attractions operations, facilities management, and optimal conditions of the horticultural displays
  • Manage and implement crowd management strategies, effectively address onsite incidents and emergencies
  • Analyse, develop and implement visitor management plans in accordance to visiting patterns
  • Continuously assess and improve the guest experience, gathering feedback and implementing changes as necessary
  • Review related processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
  • Liaise with other authorities on matters that may affect Gardens by the Bay operations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in any relevant field
  • Minimum 8 years' of relevant experience in a tourist attraction or related industry
  • Handson approach to management and leadership
  • Ability to manage, supervise, and deploy a frontline team with robust teamwork
  • Resourceful and dynamic with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pleasant and friendly disposition, with the ability to remain customeroriented under challenging situations
  • Creative, adaptable and able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to influence and drive collaboration across various departments
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
