    than actually being part of us?DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe intern will work with Marriott's Area Vice President and Area Director of Finance, Singapore & Maldives team and based in the Singapore office.

    The intern will assist in projects, and supporting initiatives related to hotel operations.


    Key responsibilities include:


    Market research on new/recent projectsParticipate in hotel and market visitsCreate presentation decks using PowerPointCoordinate and collate data / information with different teamsReview and summarize Financial reportsPerform basic analysis using Excel and other relevant analytical toolsTake lead of projects such as Capital expenditure, Budget preparationManage and respond to e-mails in an effective, organized and professional wayAssist supervisor in facilitating appointments, organize meeting schedule and prepare agendaMaintain confidentiality of proprietary information and follow company policies and proceduresPerform other reasonable job duties as requestedJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESDisplay strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling dataBe initiative, proactive, creative and have the ability to "think outside the box"Be responsible, well-organized and systematic in dealing with assignmentsBe flexible and adaptable to change and have awareness on different cultures in the regionHave a good command of English – spoken and written, Chinese would be an added valueHave good interpersonal and communication skills - able to work in a teamTech savvy - strong proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookQUALIFICATION STANDARDEducation:Undergraduate in Hospitality Management, Business administration or Finance preferredRequirements:Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder or valid student pass / work holiday passEligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program / uundergraduate or graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States.
