Description

Assists the project manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing and overseeing the construction of Plant BOP system, such as ACC, waste water treatment system, compressed air etc.

Manage a construction project team and oversee the construction activities, planning, implementation, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
Liaise and coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and different authorities on the project's activities.
Review and prepare method statements for submission to the client.
Ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
Responsible for assisting the Project Manager the overall performance of team in the project and prepare the project management and project quality plans and implement them accordingly for the Plant BOP.
In charge of implementation and completion of construction project within scheduled time, cost and quality.
Provide technical knowledge to the client in the PM's area of expertise to help solve the client's problems
Mediate conflicting technical views from the various disciplines and thereby producing a harmonious working relationship among the technical staff on the project
Management of construction works to ensure timely completion and also adherence to environmental and safety standards.
Finalize project including provisional overhead adjustments, claims, release of retention, signed releases, and client followup. Obtain Certification of Completion as required.
Monitor ongoing site activities and ensure work runs smoothly.
Any adhoc duties as per assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

Have experience & technical knowledge on the power plant
BOP or Waste to Energy plant BOP

Must be able to communicate in
Chinese proficiently , both in speaking, reading and writing, i
ncluding technical and industrial terms in Chinese to liase with other stakehodlers
Qualification Diploma's or Bachelor's Degree
