JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Follow up with customers to ensure overdue amounts are paid promptly
To monitor on receiving and chase for payments.
Responsible in contacting customers and send reminders to ensure timely payments.
Negotiate payment plans with customers and set payment terms and conditions accordingly.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to nonpayment of invoices.
Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
Conduct aged balance review with Superior and follow up review actions.
Assist in AR invoicing and sending monthly statements to customers.
Accounting functions of bank reconciliation, accounts receivables, accounts payables and general ledger.
Review internal controls and processes and recommend improvements if any.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Assist and liaise with external auditor in all finance related enquires.
Maintain proper documentations and filings.
Other assignments as assigned by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years of experience in credit control with at least 2 years in similar capacity
Prior experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics industry is preferred
Computer literate and familiar with MS Office & MS Excel
Self-Motivated, analytical mindset
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
Independent and fast learner with minimum supervision
Meticulous, organized, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
