Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to research projects for public sector, corporate or regional/international clients on topics relating to climate change, circular economy, global partnership and financial inclusion, water and sanitation, poverty and education and other SDGs.
- Provide strategy, direction and guidance on research projects and proposals
- Produce policy reports and publish articles in academic journals.
- Undertake research and market surveillance on sustainability reporting frameworks, sustainability related legislation, company sustainability policies.
- Participate in relevant internal discussions and activities such as seminars and conferences to position Climate+ and increase its international standing
Requirements:
- Master's or Postgraduate degree student, in the fields of climate and energy economics, law, finance, engineering (environmental, chemical) international relations, public policy, or other related disciplines.
- Possess knowledge and experience in climate change and sustainability areas, such as climate and energy, circular economy, global partnership and financial inclusion, water and sanitation, poverty and education.
- Possess strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
- Possess strong influencing and collaboration qualities, analytical abilities and a broad sense of perspective.
- Willing to work across research programmes and contribute to more than one research project.
