1JOB PURPOSE**Assist the Clinical Operations team to drive the four main work streams, namely,

  • Support campus planning
  • Support preoperations planning and implementation
  • Support clinical manpower planning
  • Direct model of care planning and development

2MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES'**
_Specific_
i.

Analyse and identify the population's detailed health care needs within the designated catchment area of Woodlands Health Campus (WHC), to support the development of clinical services plan and population health strategy.

ii.

Identify, develop and implement the clinical services required to meet these needs by the proposed acute and community hospitals, as well as the nursing homes and primary/community services primary care sector within WHC's catchment.


  • Work with the clinical leads to define and review clinical service requirements and workload in order to develop and support WHC's campus opening plan.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative care delivery models to meet the projected care needs and integrated care.
  • Review design and architectural documents to ensure compliance with clinical service requirements.
  • Review facilities, equipment and instrument requirements to ensure the necessary standardization and compliance with clinical needs, and defined norms.
  • Support the planning of medical equipment requirements and procurement, and in line with the clinical services and campus opening plan.
  • Coordinate the inputs from clinical and user leads to drive IT service planning for the WHC.
iii.

Support the planning, development and execution of WHC pre-operations at the respective host institution sites which include the following: manpower ramp-up, clinical services plan, staff deployment strategy and facilities management.


  • Project management for facilities renovation to run and support clinical services.
  • Work with clinical leads to support the development of appropriate clinical criteria, workflows and conduct operations readiness exercises.
iv.

Support the development and implementation of community based care including developing off campus clinical services as well as collaboration and capability enhancement/sharing with community partners including private and voluntary-welfare organisations operating in or near the WHC catchment.

v. To support in the development of the necessary approval papers and tender/legal documents.

vi. Where instructed or necessary, collaborate with MOH and other governmental bodies to facilitate the WHC planning.

vii. Support the annual division work plan and budgeting exercise.

i. Where directed by Head, Director or Chief, Clinical Operations, to support in other WHC-related projects and tasks.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

_Education / Training / Experience_

  • University Degree
  • At least 2 years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background will be considered for Executive
  • At least 56 years of related experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an operations or service background will be considered for Senior Executive
  • Healthcare experience is a bonus
