    Roles & Responsibilities

    Amazon team is looking for a smart and driven Head of Instock Manager to lead our Fresh team in Singapore, committed to improve the way customers shop and buy Consumables/Grocery products.
    As Head of Instock Manager, you will lead the business from an in-stock point of view, driving improvements in inventory availability, inventory efficiency, selection growth and planning/purchasing processes. You will also be accountable for the performance and will own the reporting to the Leadership Team.

    As an important member of the group, you will be part of a emerging, dynamic and international team, whose objective is to mutually learn and apply success stories throughout international countries (US, UK, DE, IT, ES, JP) into the Online Grocery business. You will develop your project management skills, business acumen and stakeholders management including senior leadership, while driving challenging changes and making decisions impacting our customers. Focusing on customer experience as the ultimate end-goal, you will also develop your analytical skills. As you become embedded in the day to day team operations, you will learn hands-on what the key drivers are for success in the e-commerce business.

    Key Job Responsibilities

    • Lead the In-stock function within the Singapore business, coordinating a team of people and reporting to the Leadership team.
    • Drive system/process improvements working with vendors on order management, vendor operations, forecast generation and inventory management and working closely with vendor management team.
    • Participate in the management of ongoing projects and present recommendations for process changes based on solid data analysis with the goal to improve the customer experience on our sites.
    • Work with Tech teams across Amazon to optimize systems, such as those that generate forecasts and manage orders.
    • Actively be part in launching new ideas and being the point of contact between various stakeholders and teams, both in Singapore and across the world, managing the project expectations.
    • Support the retail team by guaranteeing the follow-up of our business indicators and provide data sets and analytical support to the business teams, maximizing automation to increase productivity.
    • Identify the flaws in our processes and come up with action plans to correct them.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
    • Experience working with complex data sets
    • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
    • 5+ years of with Excel experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
    • Experience with SQL
