    Roles & Responsibilities

    Direct Search Global is working with a fast-growing Marine & Offshore company to fill the role of Paralegal Executive in their Singapore office.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct legal research on various topics using online resources, legal databases, and other sources to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
    • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
    • Manage and organize case files, documents, and exhibits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal procedures.
    • Prepare and file legal documents with courts, administrative agencies, and other governmental authorities, adhering to filing deadlines and requirements.
    • Assist in the preparation for trials, hearings, and arbitrations by organizing exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials.
    • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards and professional conduct rules.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
    • Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and terminology.
    • Proficiency in conducting legal research using online resources and legal databases.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
