Responsibilities:


  • Engage in collaborative teaching alongside the Senior Teacher in a Homeroom (range from Early Years to Senior School).
  • Teaching and guiding students in the classroom.
  • Preparing teaching materials.
  • Maintaining and organising classroom materials.
  • Assisting in communication with parents.
  • Working with each students' team (Teachers, Therapy and Pastoral Care) on the formulation and execution of a plan for academic, behavioural and socialemotional development.
  • Taking on the role of Senior Teacher when necessary.
  • Leading a Subject.
  • Delivering differential lessons, activities and homework within the classroom.
  • Collecting learning data.
  • Implementing and conducting programs for classroom use.
  • Communicating progress to parents.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of Degree in Education/Special Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching with emphasis on either Literacy or Mathematics.
  • Passion and commitment to the Winstedt mission and core values.
