    The opportunity

    This position will support the Chief Compliance Officerwith company secretarial and administration duties to ensure compliance with corporate governance, REIT and other relevant rules and regulations.

    Responsibilities

  • Assist with general meetings, coordinate regular board and board committee meetings and prepare agendas and papers for board and board committee meetings
  • Drafting and circulating of minutes and resolutions for board and board committees
  • Assist with SGXNet announcements, circulars, annual reports, sustainability reports and other necessary public disclosures/filings
  • Assist with ACRA filings
  • Provide support and advice on all corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters
  • Handle ad-hoc company secretarial or compliance related assignments
  • Monitor regulatory developments
  • Provide timely escalation of issues to Chief Compliance Officer on all relevant matters
  • Assist with regulatory, statutory and internal / group reporting requirements
  • Assist with the execution of the compliance program
  • Liaise with internal / external auditors, trustee and regulators on compliance, listing and licensing requirements
  • Coordinate and conduct training from a regulatory and compliance perspective
  • Liaise with internal / external legal counsel for compliance and legal matters where necessary

  • What we are looking for

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Qualified corporate secretary
  • Sound knowledge of REIT / financial services industry
  • At least 5-7 years of experience with strong company secretarial and/or corporate governance knowledge and familiar with Companies Act and SGX-ST Listing Manual
  • Good command in English, verbally and written
  • Meticulous, articulate and ability to work independently
  • Good attitude with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
