    About the Team:

    At Aspire, Finance plays a pivotal role in propelling our business forward. Our Finance team encompasses crucial functions across 4 verticals: (i) Traditional Finance handling Accounting, Tax, Reporting, (ii) Treasury as a core function in Fintech, (iii) Data including Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering, and (iv) Strategy & Planning covering the strategic roadmap, long-term planning, fundraising, and FP&A. Our Finance squad conducts regular strategic data analysis, research, and modeling to provide top-notch financial insights for key business decisions, steering Aspire through the competitive landscape and seizing emerging opportunities. The team also serves as the primary user of our Aspire software, leading the Finance transformation by revamping our internal processes to stay agile while upholding internal control in a rapidly growing environment.

    About the Role:

    At Aspire, we take pride in building a stellar team. We're seeking a Strategy & Planning manager to join our talented lineup as we bolster the Strategy & Planning function. Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Planning, you'll be part of a 4-5 member team focused on Strategic Planning, Governance & Performance Management, and Investor Reporting.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Develop data-driven investment theses, business cases, pricing analyses, and evaluation criteria for growth and efficiency-oriented initiatives
    • Finance Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business leaders for KPI oversight, promptly highlighting areas of opportunity and risk for decision-making
    • Industry & Competition: Work with cross-functional teams to offer competitive research and insights, steering our competitive strategy
    • Analyze financial and operational results to gain deeper insights into company performance. Present detailed analysis and commentary on results
    • Special Projects: Lead task forces and manage high-impact, high-priority special projects such as M&A, equity and debt fundraising

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of relevant experience in finance, strategy, consulting, investment banking, or similar analytical roles
    • Strong interest in Fintech, Tech, and Start-ups
    • Values-oriented, data-driven decision-making approach
    • Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships - effective communication and engagement with internal stakeholders of various levels is key
    • Highly analytical mindset with the capability to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with precision and attention to detail
    • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on automation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficient in solving complex business problems
    • Ability to simplify complex issues into structured frameworks and actionable plans
    • Exceptional leadership skills with over 3 years of prior people management experience
