Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Advise the Founder/CIO on investments across the firm.
- Conduct due diligence by speaking to companies' management, industry experts, government officials, and sellside analysts within the region.
- Systematize and streamline the investment process via technology, fundamental, and technical analysis.
- Oversee portfolios for the family office, including setting up and implementing strategies, conducting risk management and analytics for portfolios, and presenting investment ideas and uptodate market insights regularly.
- Originate investment trends and generate alpha from multiple industries based on fundamental analysis.
- Engage policymakers, industry experts, and companies' management across the region for investment analysis and evaluation.
- Perform due diligence via management interviews, site visits, channel checks, and forensic accounting.
- Communicate with the headquarters on a weekly basis for updates and quarterly basis for strategy (macro and geopolitical), economic outlook, and thematic ideas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience as an Investment Director, Portfolio Manager, or in a similar role, preferably in a multifamily asset management or fund house.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- Discretion and good judgment when handling confidential information.
