    Description

    Purpose:

    To enable a people eco system around moments that matter – delivering value at every touchpoint and provide HR service and support to defined support area. Manages and acts as a key contributor for local or global HR projects and initiatives for SEA Cluster.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Key contact for managers and employees including SEA Corporate staff and providing consultation on policies and procedures.


    • Trusted advisor to people on all people related matters. Coach and mentor Line Managers to be empowered around people, engagement, career progression and performance topics/decisions.


    • Support and execute the People Strategy in a defined area.


    • Monitor/create dashboards and analytic trends in the HR areas


    • Build a Talent pipeline with robust succession plans for management positions within the area of responsibility


    • Ensure our people products and processes are executed and adapt communication for employee base


    • Quickly respond to complaints, questions, needs from line managers, employees


    • Educate and support leaders, managers in their people roles and responsibilities: appraisals, discipline and grievances, absence, talent acquisition, leadership and talent development, career progression


    • Implement and update guideline and policies according to local laws and regulations, to ensure compliance in HR practices and internal/external audits. This is in collaboration with HR GBS (Shared Services) and other HRBPs in Singapore location.


    • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle alongside HR GBS


    • Drive annual people processes such as compensation review and performance evaluation.


    • Lead Employee Listening Survey results analysis and action planning alongside country leadership team


    • Manage SEA Workforce Planning and the annual / monthly budgeting and tracking of personnel expenses.


    • Drive employee engagement through country initiated or global activations. This would include the run and coordinate events for the locality.

    • HR Capabilities: Individual and collective labor law. HR Subject Matter Expert, use of HR metrics, change delivery support, organizational design, maintains external perspective, anticipating people trends, employee relations. Basic knowledge around workforce planning


    • Business Capabilities: Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding HR strategy, understanding business, its value chain and key processes


    • Consulting Capabilities: Brokering solutions to meet business needs, ability to sell HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, team facilitation, coaching skills, project input and delivery


    • Display strong leadership and management skills


    • Customer oriented and approachable with strong interpersonal and coaching skills


    • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills


    • Confident, creative and collaborative within the team


    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills to employees and small groups

    Requisite Education and Experience:


    • University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline


    • Minimum of 6-7 years progressive work experience in the field of HR Business Partnering and/or other relevant functions (preferably in an international organization)


    • English fluent (written and oral)
