    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Purpose and Scope

    • As a key member of operation team, you will be working with a dedicated team and responsible for the gas plant and service corridor operation with the aim of meeting performance targets of reliability and availability and complying fully with regulatory requirements, company policies, SOPs and HSSE standard.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • In charge of plant operation by monitoring plant performance, managing plant logistics and working with maintenance to ensure plant equipment is maintained to assure reliability
    • Plan operation activities and supervise a team of technicians to ensure effective operation of the plant and compliance
    • Review and implement SOPs, MSRA, shift reports, and plant operating performance reports
    • Coordinate with stakeholders (End Users, Power Gas, EMA/PSO, Vendors) for Gas operation related works
    • Manage internal and external stakeholders for new and renewal of service corridor pipeline customer enquiries and project execution as operation representative. Responsible for the O&M cost proposal and ensure of O&M standard requirements are fully met in the project execution.
    • In charge of plan and analysis of the service corridor operation inspection and follow through the rectification and improvement if any.
    • Participate in the root cause analysis (RCA) and Management of Change (MOC) and ensure closure of the RCA, MOC and Incident report follow ups.
    • Supervise technician for gas data downloading and review consumption statement
    • Cover Shift Manager duty when required.
    • Enforce operation safety by ensuring safety equipment are inspected regularly, and all jobs being carried out in accordance with company's HSSE policy and regulatory requirement.
    • Be a member in Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Degree in Engineering
    • Minimum 3 years operation & maintenance working experience in Power & Gas Industry or Utilities Industry
    • Class 3 Driving License is Mandatory

    Skills/Competencies & Preferred & Characteristics

    • Competent in interpreting engineering drawings including P&ID, Isometric, General Arrangement drawings
    • Competent in using Microsoft office tools and applications for data analysis and reporting
    • Good team player and able to deliver results within tight deadlines
    • Good planning, organizing and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Self-driven, independent with positive attitude and willing to learn.
    • Possess good leadership skills
